Precast Tunnel Liners are specifically made to match the requirements of each tunnel. They are installed immediately after the tunnel boring machine progresses. They are designed to resist the earth pressure and groundwater head as well as provide the framework for the tunnels ultimate use. Several liner segments are combined to make a ring. The orientation of each ring can be rotated to allow for curves, descents and ascents of the overall tunnel profile.
